If you’ve ever lived near Mukwonago, Wisconsin, you have probably heard of or been to The Elegant Farmer. As we drove up to the old barn, seeing the large smiley face prepared me for the joy I would feel here. They have renovated this old barn into an incredible shopping experience that includes a Bakery, Deli and Market. This place is filled with unique spice blends, flavored popcorn, dip mixes, jams, local cheeses, fresh produce, baked goods and more. As you walk through, the smell of freshly baked bread and apple pie waft throughout the barn. Visiting made me excited for the beginning of the Fall Season. Also, a fun fact that I learned today is that The Elegant Farmer was featured in an episode of ‘Throwdown with Bobby Flay’! I took a picture of the plaque that is showcased there talking about the episode. I brought home some wonderful goodies, which were Honeycrisp Apples, delicious cheeses and a huge Butternut Squash.
