Today, I get to share something I made at work! I work in Senior Living and oversee the Life Enrichment program at my community. We do a large variety of activities everyday, and today was a day we scheduled a cooking activity. I saw this idea online and had to try it with my residents, and it was a success. All you need are fresh strawberries, white chocolate and eyeball sprinkles. Once you melt the white chocolate, you coat the strawberry in the chocolate and add the eyeballs while the chocolate is still soft. To harden the chocolate, you can place the strawberries in the refrigerator for 15 minutes. One tip with making chocolate strawberries is using parchment paper on a plate, which helps with clean up as well as the chocolate forming into the proper shape. This is a fun treat to make for a Halloween Party, or to make with your family and friends. Not only do they turn out adorable, but they are a delicious treat!
