Happy Taco Tuesday! I wanted to showcase this lovely Mexican Restaurant in Algonquin, Illinois. If you are visiting or live near Algonquin, definitely check out Antigua Mexican Grill. Walking into the restaurant, the decor is colorful, stunningly beautiful and the staff is super friendly. To start the meal, make sure to order one of their delicious margaritas. I usually order mine on the rocks, but you can also order frozen margaritas. The Guava and Mango are both sweet and refreshing. I ordered the Enchiladas Suizas, which comes with 3 Enchiladas smothered in their creamy tomato based sauce, with a side of rice and beans. The sauce had tremendous flavor, and it complimented the filling well. I also had to get the iconic Soft Serve Margarita for dessert. They have Strawberry and Passion Fruit flavors, but you can order them swirled. If you love tequila, like I do, you will enjoy the strong tequila flavor accompanied by the fruity sweetness.
