Sadly, I had to give my Sourdough Starter a funeral! I was trying to get the starter to the right consistency for over two weeks, but it was never right. I used lots of flour trying to create my starter and it unfortunately resulted with a thin, creamy liquid that smelled similar to all-purpose cleaner. I decided that I just needed to dump it and start anew. When I bought some more sourdough supplies recently, I also found this sourdough starter packet. I wanted to buy it as a backup if my homemade starter didn’t work, and boy am I glad I did. I plan on thoroughly reading the instructions attached and I will update you on this sourdough starter journey. I hope this one goes better than the last!
