For more Friendsgiving Prep, we made some creamy, garlicky mashed potatoes! These are always worth the time to make homemade. I started with peeling a whole bag of potatoes, chopping into quarters and then placing in a pot completely covered in water. Once boiling, I measure out the heavy cream and chop fresh garlic. Once the potatoes are fork tender, drain using a colander and place back in the pot. In a separate sauce pan, heat up the heavy cream, garlic and spices. After heating the cream to infuse the garlic and spices, slowly pour the cream mixture and incorporate into the potatoes. As you mash them together, they will become creamy, dreamy and flavorful. Add salt and pepper to taste and you just made the best mashed potatoes to serve at your next Holiday Party!
